Huechahue is in northern Patagonia in Argentina. It is in the foothills of the Andes mountains close to the Argentina / Chile border. 1,600 km south west of Buenos Aires.

We are 200 kms north east of Bariloche, 70 kms east of San Martin de los Andes, and 30 kms east of Junin de los Andes - where parallel 40 crosses the Collun Cura River.
